I just finished reading Stephen King's 11/22/63, which I absolutely loved. The plot itself was fantastic and kept me very engrossed but one of the most compelling aspects of the book was the MC's romance. It was beautiful and I loved the way in which it complimented the story and had more repercussions as the story progressed, but it wasn't the central story of the novel, though it also wasn't just a subplot.
I'd love for recommendations of other books that are centrally fantasy, suspense, drama, or any other genre that isn't explicitly romance, but which contain an especially compelling and beautiful romance that compliments and blends seamlessly with the larger narrative!
