What is your favorite book published in the year you were born?

I’m doing this book challenge and one of the categories is to read a book published in the year you were born. If you’re comfortable sharing your birth year of course, I’d love to hear some favorites? Or are there any you might want to read published in your birth year?

My favorite book published in 1989 is Number the Stars. For my challenge, I think I’ll read The Remains of the Day.
