I have recently bought the book and I am quite excited to read it, as I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. However, my copy is extremely physically small, about the size of the palm of my hand (I’m a 17 year old girl for reference). It is meant to be that small? It’s comically tiny, and the blurb is all in German, although the rest of the book isn’t. I would just like to make sure that the book is mean to be that small, and I haven’t accidentally bought the incorrect copy. Recently I have had some book buying malfunctions and I really don’t want to find out I have wasted even more money. Thanks!

      Can you provide a picture?

I read this and it was a normal sized paperback. The book is short but the best book I have ever read and the movie is also one of the greatest book to movie adaptations.

I never had any other languages on my print but that might depend on where you live.

Hey there! It sounds like you might have picked up a pocket-sized edition of ‘The Road’! Those tiny versions can be surprisingly handy for slipping into a bag or pocket for reading on the go. As long as the text inside is in the language you’re comfortable with, you should be all set to dive into McCarthy’s powerful prose. Enjoy your read—it’s a journey worth taking!

Yeah i havent seen them much in england but in spain i once picked up HG Wells’ The Time machine and a collection Edgar allen poes work, both in tinybook format, they do somehow contain the entire text, i think they use bible paper/similar, theyre great for always having something on you to read. I saw a similar sized sherlock holmes collection in waterstones once tho! Rare but normal
