I’ve been in a reading drought lately and saw Neverwhere recommend a lot here. I’m listening to the audiobook and am so lost. I’m only about 4 chapters in. Does it get better? Did I miss something? I want so badly to be hooked.

I’ve read that book a few years ago. I just thought it was okay.

I stopped reading about halfway through. Just wasn’t for me, like a lot of Gaiman. He’s talented for sure, it’s just not my bag. However, a book that did get me out of a slump was The Ocean and the end of the Lane. I thought it was so freakin cool and loved every moment of it.
