Hello!
I need a book recommendation for one of my students. I’m taking part in a literary project where we teach high-school kids how to discuss literature, write essays, and so on. It’s in a non-English speaking country (basically English is usually our L2) and one of my students wanted to read Alcott’s Little Women, but it proved to be too difficult for her (because of the lenght). I would say that her level of English is around A2-B1, which is why I want to suggest that she reads some short stories, preferably on a similar topic to Alcott’s Little Women or something modern (discussing modern issues). It can be from any English-speaking country. I will be greatful for any suggestions.
