I wanna start listening to more audiobooks before bed. Preferably looking for easy to follow ones where the narrator has a calm voice. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
Random House audio “Don’t know much about Mythology” by Kenneth C Davis and narrated by John Lee. I bought this audiobook in 2008 and still have no idea what large parts of it are about because I inevitably fall asleep listening to it.

Easy to follow but hella long- anything by Brandon Sanderson, Micheal Kramer reads for all his books and he has a very soothing voice, I’ve accidentally fallen asleep more than once listening through the stormlight archive.

I’ve been going with Becky Chambers books lately. I find that high drama tends to keep me awake and most of hers are quite the opposite.

The Hobbit (not sure the narrators name) put my son to sleep in ten minutes almost every night.
Which is why it took us a year to get through it😂

The Isabel Dalhousie series by Alexander McCall Smith. Quiet and lilting and nothing much happens.

Anything narrated by Stephen Fry! He wrote a series retelling Greek myths, and it’s fabulous. His books are Mythos, Legends, and Troy, but he also narrated the HP books and some other children’s books.

Any of the Amelia Peabody series narrated by Barbara Rosenblatt! Or Matilda narrated by Kate Winslet. I fall asleep to either of those every single night.
