Hi! I'm cancelling my audible subscription, but first I have 5 credits to use! I'm looking for something that's not tooooo heavy in subject matter or too dark, but it doesn't have to be the lightest/fluffiest thing around. I'm pretty character-driven and tend to like books that some of my friends find boring.
I'm pretty open to genre – I'm just not one for horror or most high fantasy. I really enjoy nonfiction, especially on audio, and lately I've been on a literary fiction kick. I'll include some favorites down below but they'll be all over the place for genre.
Some things I've liked:
Non-fiction: Just Mercy, Born a Crime, Factfulness, Utopia for Realists
Fiction: Star Wars (both EU and new canon), Dark Matter and Recursion by Blake Crouch, Normal People by Sally Rooney, Book Lovers by Emily Henry, and I'm currently reading Honey by Isabel Banta

Some of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to are the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. They are excellently narrated. It’s a science fiction series with a lot of comedy.
For non-fiction, I’d suggest Billy Bryson. I particularly enjoy A Walk in the Woods, In a Sun Burned Country, and At Home.
Tom Stranger, Interdimensional Insurance Agent is a funny series, narrated by Alex Baldwin. Highly recommend!
Lord of the Rings narrated by Andy Serkis was amazing.
I vaguely remember Christopher Lee doing Dracula but I’m not sure it’s on there.
Michael C hall did a couple of Stephen Kong books too, I liked pet semetary
