I really enjoyed the fast paced action of The Lies of Locke Lamora and Six of Crows, so i’m looking for suggestions on books that had your heart racing, preferably with action/a pinch of good fantasy elements, but any genre is good!

You might enjoy the Founder’s Trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennett, starting with Foundryside. Lots of fast-paced heist action and a pretty cool magic system!
Anything by Neal Stephenson. My personal favourites are Snow Crash, The Diamond Age, and Reamde. Seveneves isn’t quite as action-y but is still good.
Anything by Sarah Pinsker. She has a novella available free here, [And Then There Were N-1](https://escapepod.org/2018/11/01/escape-pod-652-and-then-there-were-n-one-part-1/)
Level 26, by Anthony Zuicker. Can’t get more fast paced than this…

Space Opera, by Cat Valente
100% [The Hike by Drew Magary](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/27833803-the-hike?ac=1&from_search=true&qid=H5RNKEna7U&rank=2) – it’s such a wild ride I couldn’t even begin to describe it. I consider it fantasy-adjacent. It’s a blast to read – for example, it has a potty-mouthed talking crab character named Crab. How can you pass that up?
The Return. (Horror genre)
The Temeraire series by Naomi Novik! I blew through those, couldn’t put them down!
