I’ve read pretty widely this past year and I’d like to broaden my horizons even more. I don’t normally read history besides the occasional biography but I’ve been interested in reading about the Roman Empire for some time now. It doesn’t need to be comprehensive or anything but just something interesting during that time period. Thanks !

It’s a somewhat humorous take on how murder wasn’t *technically* illegal (It was one of those “Do you want to press charges” type crimes) And how was murder defined in a civilization that had honor killings, constant political assassinations, and where gladiators fighting to the death was the national sport.
