In love with Abercrombie. In search or other just-as-fantastic reads

So, I've read a gambit of things, but my fav series of the last 5 years hands down was Joe Abercrombie's First Law series (followed closely by King Killer Chrionicles).

And I want a world, a casting of characters, as compelling and enthralling. Worlds that whisked you away, and perhaps you end up loving a character you initially swore off… (Glokta, anyone?).

Anyways, don't restrict yourself on genre. I've also been on an Ayn Rand, Anne Rice, and Sarah Maag kicks lately (the last of which maybe more of a guilty pleasure), and am a lover of old lit to new lit alike.

Give me the hill you die on – the book/series everyone should read.
