My favourites so far are;
- A Black Fox Running by Brian Carter (10/10. Loved this so much.)
- The Little Grey Men, Down The Bright Stream & Brendon Chase by Denys Watkins-Pitchford
- Lord of The Rings/The Hobbit (to a degree.)
I didn’t enjoy Ring of Bright Water, and I’ve got Duncton Wood by William Horwood to read. I’m not looking for romance stories (obviously a bit is fine, but not the focus.)
anything with long beautiful nature descriptions of the UK (or based on the UK) and especially anything with a philosophical tone is more than welcome. Thanks!
