The members of my book club get to decide on our monthly theme, and this is what they've asked for. It's fairly vague which is why I'm seeking external input.
Any suggestions for books with grandmas where you think, "I wish I were her grand child!" or something similar? Any genre is fine.
The original request was specifically for books with life advice from unexpected corners, brought up after i'd mentioned My Grandmother Asked me to Tell You She's Sorry (I haven't read it; I've just heard about it.
They tend to like wholesome, clever, witty characters, inclusivity/diversity, precocious kids, etc. Notable mentions of characters they've liked along this theme are Elle from Dungeon Crawler Carl, Sheldon's grandma in Young Sheldon, and Avasarala from The Expanse.
Grateful for anything you can come up with! Bonus points if there's a great audio book version.

If you want one that comes off as old-fashioned but still caring and fiery, Granny from Terry Pratchett’s *Equal Rites* is a great character!
