Last summer I read Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson and I LOVED it! I just bought another one of her books but I'm not looking for more of hers, I'm looking for ones like the plot.
If you have yet to read this book, the basic plot is that this girl's best friend has mysteriously up and left and the main character has no clue where she's gone. All she receives from her friend is a list of things to do over the summer that are not things she would normally do – like apple picking at night, kiss a stranger, steal something/break something, hug a Jamie, sleep under the stars, share some secrets etc.
It's not a thriller or anything creepy mysterious just a tiny bit of a mystery but more about her doing the things on the list throughout the summer while making new friends. There's also a bit of a romance and flashback chapters to when her friend was still around.
I was wondering if any of you know of another cute YA book that reminds you of this one plot wise, or has something to do with a crazy list of things to do!\
