What is a self-help/improvement book that you’d recommend to anyone?
For Discussion:
For me its Atomic Habits – James Clear. I read it once a year (or listen to it) and anyone who needs little nuggets of actionable advice and motivation would do well to pick it up!
I am a huge fan of pop psych/ personal finance and I think both of those also qualify as self help, so here are some titles I enjoyed
grit
ultralearning
7 habits of highly effective people
the psychology of money
atomic habits
the power of habit
how to win friends and influence people
influence: the psychology of persuasion
meditations
never eat alone and other secrets to success
malcolm gladwell’s books
drive: the surprising truth about what motivates us
I will teach you to be rich
the subtle art of not giving a fuck
the winner effect: the neuroscience of success and failure
shadysade on
What happened to you is seriously the most mind opening book I’ve ever read and I continue to gift this book to fellow spicy brainers and teacher friends.
