I was planning on diving into Nietzsche, Dostoevsky, or Camus but I don’t know where to start. I tried Nietzsche before but I dived into something too hard that I wasn’t ready for. I would like something around the same level as Hesse’s writing or a bit harder but not a huge jump.
I definitely want my next read to be one of the 3 I mentioned above but I don’t know who to start with first and whenever I do pick one of them I want to read their stuff in the proper order. Meaning I don’t want to start with Nietzsche’s Thus Spoke Zarathustra, which is one of his hardest and meant to be read latest works.
I would prefer people with some philosophy background to answer this. Or that have read the authors I mentioned.
To reiterate I am looking for which one of those 3 to read first and after picking one, which work to start with. Thank you.

For Camus, The Stranger; for D., Crime and Punishment. As to Nietzsche, he should be read chronologically. If you have read nothing by him, star with a biography.
Camus The Stranger next. I’m reading Dostoyevsky now, and it’s more challenging.
