I want to read a romance novel. I don’t want to read a Fifty Shades and I don’t want it to be written from the female gaze (I am a 24-year-old man). Something Bonnie and Clyde esque. In fact, if there’s a novel about Bonnie and Clyde, let me know. I’m sure there is.

The Let Me Series by Alexandria House tells the story from both perspectives
Maybe {{Ruthless People by J.J. McAvoy}}; told from both his and her perspectives.
Anything But You by Jennifer Crusie is half her perspective, half his. Younger man pursues older woman (including one attempt to seduce her while wearing Daffy Duck shorts). Also there is a depressed dog.
The Best Go First by Frank O’Malley. Woman asks private investigator to follow her brother. Things “get complicated” according to the vague summary.
(I’m sorry. It was such a vague, short summary.)
But honestly, I feel like pulp / noir books like this might be your best bet! There’s crime and danger and romance, too in these kinds of stories. If you want more suggestions, just let me know. 🙂
Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier
