Beryl is barreling towards the coast and I want a spooky book to read while riding out the storm. Horror suggestions would be great, particularly ghost stories. Something with a dark, moody vibe. Bonus points for a book with gorgeous nature depictions.
    Appreciate the suggestions!

    1. Sea Siege by Andre Norton

It’s an old novel, but it’s an interesting story

Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer is easily the most eerie descriptions of nature I’ve ever read.

Honourable mention to Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier – very creepy, set in a large English estate with lots of wanders.
