To be fair, I don’t remember much of the details either. It was recommended by a friend when I was in my early 20s, and centered around an unhappy married woman. She began meeting men at hotels (not sure if she was escorting/prostituting or just meeting men online), and on one occasion was cornered into a group session. At the time I was young and naive and was horrified at this book. 20 years later, I’d love to read it again with the perspective I now have as a woman in her 40s. I know it’s a long shot but figured I’d ask and see if anyone might know the title.
