Requesting suggestions of non-fantasy “coming of age”

Greetings fellow readers;

I have found a series that I enjoy, by Travis Starnes and called 'Country Roads'. The problem is that Amazon sucks with respects to searching for "coming of age" and I can't make it pass the list they recommend. I am hoping for teenagers, with no fantasy such like the Harry Potter series, and also hoping for normal teens with no drugs or gangs as a focus. If you've read Country Roads and have a suggestion of a similar feeling series, please toss me a line. Thank you.
