Hello! I do my yearly reading challenge on a theme and this year’s is “classic” sci-fi and horror. I have somewhat arbitrarily defined “classic” in this case as “pre-80’s”.
I’ve already hit a lot of the really well known classics: Frankenstein, Jekyll and Hyde, Dracula, Poe, Lovecraft, etc.
What I’m looking for now are some more niche, obscure, and/or forgotten novels especially 19th century or earlier.
I’ve got plenty of sci-fi lined up, but I’m starting to hit the end of my horror playlist.
Any length is fine, though I’ve already done plenty of short stories/novellas, and I’d like to see some longer works.
