The books can be Halloween based or just autumn. I usually read romance and contemporary stories. But in this case any genre is fine, just not gross like slasher/gore mysteries, regular mysteries totally. Young Adult and teen stories are also welcome. I really want to get into fall this year and actually read books set in that time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

{{The Secret History}} is a quintessential fall read for me, but I would not call it fun 😅
It’s very poetic, deep, and dark. But you still might like to give it a try! I try to read it every time the leaves start to change color again
