Before I give up on this genre forever and accept that it's just not for me 😭
I've DNFed basically every contemporary romance or romantasy book I've ever picked up but I love these two genres in film/TV and am looking for a book equivalent that satisfies me.
Books/Authors I've loved: You Again by Kate Goldbeck, Emily Henry, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Red White and Royal Blue
Books/Authors I've DNFed: Tess Bailey, Colleen Hoover, Ali Hazelwood
Also if there's any romantasy that isn't ACOTAR or Fourth Wing I am all ears!!
I love a slow burn and queer lit.

Abby Jimenez is hands down my favorite Contemporary Romance author! Her latest 3 are best read in order but are stand alone books. I would also recommend Red, White, and Royal Blue, too. I have not read any romantasy.
