I’ve really been getting into reading lately, so I’ve been looking for books but cant seem to find one. If you have any suggestions, they’re openly welcomed.
If you can please think of any YA books. I like genres like horror and mystery. Typically, I read books like The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Maze Runner, and One of Us is Lying.

the inheritance games, the lunar chronicles (it’s fantasy though). i also recommend the chain by adrian mckinty. it’s not YA but it’s a super fast paced thriller and i recommend it to anyone wanting to get out of a book slump

    2. The Book that Wouldn’t Burn, Mark Lawrence

Has the feel of Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner–friends work together to solve a mystery / quest. Good world-building. I recommend.

On a used-up world where civilisations have risen and retreated in an endless tide, leaving a dusty wasteland in their wake, there is one constant: an ancient library, the repository of all knowledge and art. It also contains a multitude of lives, including those of Evar and Livira..

    3. Check out the Scythe trilogy by Neal Shusterman! Especially since you liked the Hunger Games and Divergent.

    4. All the recs so far will likely be a good fit.

Here’s a classic YA novel that is a quick and worthwhile read: The Giver by Lois Lowry.

If you are open to fantasy, try Graceling by Kristin Cashore.
