I'm in the process of reading "The Giant Dark" by Sarvat Hasin, and so far I love the language. I find the passion for music and art in the characters very relatable and like reading about that in general. The language used is poetic, and just like another favorite book of mine, "Open Water", it is somewhat lyrical. I loved that "Open Water" referenced music often, sensual and felt kind of dream-like. Another book that has a lot of rich metaphors and beautiful writing is "Catch the Rabbit" by Lana Bastacic. Ideally I'm looking for something like these. I prefer more optimistic reads than dark ones though. Any suggestions?
