I know there are articles I can read about the current Israel/Palestine conflict, but I would like some book suggestions as well. They can be directly about the conflict or loosely related (e.g., book about similar historical event that mirrors the current situation, fictional book that can be used to draw some parallels, etc.).
I’m currently reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the prequel to The Hunger Games. Unlike the rest of the books in The Hunger Games series, in which the characters we follow are more or less the ones operated by The Capitol, one of the protagonists of the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is on the privileged side, as he comes from an old money family in the Capitol (the oppressors, more or less). It’s a YA fiction book but it’s given me some things to think about regarding the current situation. Granted, I know very little about it but I’ve come across some information here and there.
