Hello everyone! I would like to know if anyone can recommend me a book in the genre of Fantasy/Horror (something that will be similar to Lovecraft at least). Or a setting where there is a forest, and if people enter it, they turn into horriyfing looking creatures?

It’s not Lovecraftian, but {{The Hike by Drew Magary}} is about a guy who goes on a hike in a forest and ends up on a path where all sorts of weird stuff happens. i.e. (not a spoiler) he sees some guys dragging a body out of a barn. They’re wearing rottweiler masks. Like actual rottweiler faces. They see him and give chase.
It’s more fantasy than horror, but it was a pretty wild ride.

Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer. The prose isn’t nearly as flowery and beautiful as Lovecraft, but besides that it’s remarkably like what you are asking for. There’s a region of Florida coast known as Area X, and everyone who goes in has unexplainable experiences.
