This is based on what I have enjoyed, maybe not the best writing, but still a fun read.

The Deer and the Dragon by Piper CJ – Modern fantasy/Romance with some paranormal

Eruption by Michael Crichton/James Patterson – Finished for MC by James Patterson.

    2. Demon Copperhead ,but it’s about to be overtaken by The Book woman of Troublesome Creek !

The Bee Sting by Paul Murray and it’s not even close. That said; there’s another half a year left in 2024, so I’m hoping it can be beat, but I’d still fancy it to be in the top 3 by the end of the year. 🙌🏻📚

Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen. It’s the best book I’ve read in ages

Flowers for Algernon, The Wind-up Bird Chronicles,Delhi A Novel, Lie With Me- Philippe Besson

    6. *”The Happiest Man on Earth** – Eddie Jaku

The Story of a Jewish man who spend 7 years between 1938 in 1945 in concentration camps, where he lost familie, friends and his country.

Published as Eddie turns 100, this is a powerful, heartbreaking and ultimately hopeful memoir of how happiness can be found even in the darkest of times.

Its sad but not at no point a dread to read and relatively short about 300 pages I believe. It’s absolutely beautiful.

And I am sure I’ll listen to it again some point in the future.

If you are looking for something easier:

**Promised land** – autobiography of Obama. The fasting story of how (accidentally) became president, and the the fascinating details of what it means to be President in your day to day life.

      Looking for fiction:

The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Reid Jenkins

A journalist gets the deal of her life when the a very famous actress, Evelyn Hugo, asks her to write her biography. But why did she specifically request her to write it, what is she hiding.

A very interesting take on a sort of mystery book that absolutely delivers on all the promises and questions the book sets up.

Very easy in my opinion and a breeze that you might just finish in record time.

      Tom Lake —Ann Patchett

      And

I Who Have Never Known Men—Jacqueline Harpman

The Whispers – Ashley Audrain. Although I suspect when I finally finish TomorrowX3, it’ll be that one 😂
