Over the last few reads, I have found my taste in books radically changing, to the point where I feel as though I've grown away from many of the books I've accumulated in my TBR over the last couple of years. As I have been going through and cleaning it out, I'm looking for some more great recommendations to fill it back up with.
I mostly am looking for fantasy, but I'm open to other genres. Really love dreamy, abstract books. Also like more "traditional" fantasy as well. Looking for stand-alones and sequels. Some books that I've read that I've 5-starred are:
The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez
The Book that Wouldn't Burn (and it's sequel) by Mark
Lawrence (just finished these and LOVED them)
Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman
both Pirianesi and Jonathan Strange by Suzanna Clark
Some I'm keeping on my TBR:
Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson
Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
Wizard of Earthsea (reread) by Ursula K. Leguin
The Sword of Kaigan M.L. Wang
The West Passage by Jarek Pechaček
Books/themes I'm super not into are ACOTAR, Fourth Wing, most booktok romantasy (hate to generalize but I've never enjoyed a booktok book, but I'm open if there's a great suggestion).
