Books that entirely-or mostly-present, discuss, and explain modern history following World War Two up to the mid to late 2010s (shot in the dark, but bonus points if it goes all the way up to 2023).
Most 'World History' courses I finished in high school and have taken in college spend the majority of the semester discussing the ancient world and either rush through the last few years up to the present due to the approaching end of the semester or drop the more recent material entirely to spend time reviewing for exams instead.
Humans recorded more information in the last eighty years then throughout our entire existence on Earth, but it's barely covered in detail despite how relavent it is.
