!TW: Mention of Child Abuse!
Hi all, I do competitive speech and debate and I generally use novels or memoirs to tell my story on a bigger platform.
I am trying to find book recommendations that have to do with child abuse- more specifically I am trying to find:
1. when it is a mother abusing a son.
2. when the POV is a son.
3. there is an involvement of physical abuse.
I have already read through all books by Dave Pelzer, The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog, and Murphy's Boy.
The best one out of those titles would have to be A Child Called 'It'.
I am asking if there are any books similar? I have been hunting for days and I am not sure where else to look.
