Recommend me a book similar in mood and storytelling to Skinamarink.

Made a long post about this. Was auto-removed. I checked and double checked every rule and hadn't broken any. Maybe I used a word or phrase that triggered a filter. This has happened many times recently. I like the movie Skinamarink. I'm curious if that type of storytelling could exist in a book. Like how they say some books are unfilmable? This may be the opposite. I really hope this posts.
