This might be a weird question, however it’s a thing that I am thinking about regarding having children, which is: What books can I listen to on audio or read aloud while a small child is listening in, but that aren’t explicitly children’s books.
So looking for:
a) books that don’t contain any triggering content, that can go above my potential baby’s/toddlers head – so non-fiction and fiction that is predominantly “for me”
b) books that are enjoyable both for small(er) children below the age of 10 and adults – so books for the whole family that aren’t necessarily marketed as children’s books. (YA and Middle grade, i.e. Harry Potter, Northern Lights, Percy Jackson, would be fine here ☺️)
Do these types of book even exist?
