Looking for a apocalyptic horror or Sci-Fi or Fantasy with a FMC that pulls no punches on how jacked up the world is. A lot of TW in the book please.

I'm watching Black Summer and there's a scene when dudes in the car and 2 people try to get in to escape the zombie chasing them. Lady is banging on the car window and she immediately says "Let me in and I'll suck your dick!" like she went straight to that which showed her level of being desperate, dude drove off and she got attacked by the zombie. I would love to read apocalyptic novel that shows how brutal things are in the world, it doesn't have to be zombies but something is clearly messing things up.

I want extremely extremely dark novel.

I want to read about the brutality and hardships and what is going on in the world. Specifically with a woman as the main character because I feel like her hardships in this world would be much worst than a dude.
