Looking for my next book
So I just finished Murtagh and fractal noise by Christopher Paolini. I loved them and I'm ready to move on. My favorite books are fantasy and non fiction based in history. I have read pretty much every Tolkien book there is, all of the inheritance cycle, a bunch of ww2/korea/Vietnam War material. Just looking for suggestions similar to these.

The *Spice and Wolf* series by Isuna Hasekura
Look up Max Hastings, perhaps the best writer I have found on military history. His books Armagedon and Retribution are companion books and are incredible.
Also Ian Toll has an incredible trilogy on the Pacific theater of WWII.
