Any books with a strong female character wth no love or little love interest in the first book or two. Character development not surrounded by a relationship for character growth. Not sure if that makes sense.
I an note a romance novel reader. Few here and there I have enjoyed. I feel Fourth Wing and Iron Flame did great even if love interest in the first book but the whole "She must learn to survive in this new world while juggling between two men" is… not my forte.
