Help – Are Prisons Obsolete? By Angela y. Davis

Good book though it was written in 2003.
HOWEVER the reason I’m here is because on page 86 she says

“However, the so-called war on terrorism initiated by the Bush administration in the aftermath of the 2002 attacks on the World Trade Center has made it very clear that the links between the military corporations and government are growing stronger, not weaker.”

I know I’m not crazy. The attacks were on 9.11.2001. This book was published only two years after and likely started earlier.

What am I missing? This is really bothering me.
