Any books like “A song of ice and fire” without fantasy?

Hello dear people,

Im a boring person who just simply loves the historical aspects and the politics in asoiaf.
What i dont enjoy are dragons and white walkers and all that fantasy stuff.

Are there any books without the fantasy aspect? A book about politics between kingdoms based on historical events?
With interesting charachters and no plot amor? Without one side being "bad" and the other "good"?
Am i asking for too much?

P.s extra points if pirates are involved🏴‍☠️
