I just noticed nearly all the books I read are from the first person POV, I'd like to read more books from the Third person point of view.
I really enjoy realistic fiction and flawed main characters, I mostly read about women but I wouldn't mind a man being the center of the story. Bonus points if the book has beautiful descriptions. I do perfer books that are more modern, taking place in the 90s, onwards.

Suttree is a decade older but you wouldn’t know it bc it’s about a guy living in the 50’s. If you like that, McCarthy’s Border Trilogy is also great.
