Contrary to what you might assume, I am actually desperate for a good read and am not trying to make myself more difficult then necessary. It's just that the last good book I read was the 'Cruel Prince' series by Holly Black two years ago! TWO YEARS is a long time for a girl to go without a good read y'all 🙁
[context: Actually I'm from India so I have been preparing for JEE Advanced after 10th grade….that meant no time for new hobbies (fellow indians will understand). But now that I'm about to enter college ,I get a free month before hustle mode again]
I don't know if its just me but I've been hating every rec on booktok, tumblr and even goodreads ratings are not trustworthy anymore. I keep getting the same recycled cliche tropes and maybe its my fault for not looking too deep so here I am. I want a book with:
> Fantasy, Young adult, New adult or Fiction genre
> STRONG FEMALE LEADS! (bonus if she's morally grey)
> No toxic masculinity male leads
> 'You and me against the world' romance ><
> NO FALLING IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! NO SMUT AFTER 2 CHAPTERS
> Enemies to lovers (only if they are actually enemies!) {tbh I like lovers-to-enemies more}
> Not too many plotholes or immature characters
