Im 19(M) going through a difficult time of transition. diagnosed with clinical depression and copius doses of anxiety and mental breakdown, heavy emotions.
honestly i've barely read anything new since few years which i regret about a lot cuz i used to love to reading books, blogs etc or anything in general. ive noticed that im drifting more towards my phone, laptop, doom scrolling just so much recently.
i want to get back into reading and would like a book thats an easy to read and something wholesome ( ive enjoyed reading On earth were briefly gorgeous.Norweign Wood, Thousand splendid suns in past ik these aren't the book what im looking for ) but something which is either chill, warm and comforting or something thats light, uplifitng.
i dont really have any other specifications other than the vibe. or maybe suggest any book that makes you happy.
Cant wait for all your recs!

Read In Watermelon Sugar by Richard Brautigan. It’s so joyful and sweet without being cringy or preachy.
My uplifting recs are Small Miracles by Olivia Atwater, A Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers, Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree, The House on the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune, & The Book of Delights by Ross Gay
