Looking to compile a list of future reads and hoping y’all can help! I’m not sure exactly how to describe what I typically enjoy, so I thought I’d just share a list of books/authors that I’ve loved and hopefully it will drum up some ideas. I clearly have a preference for women authors but that’s not a requirement.
So if you’re familiar with some or any of these and get a feel for what I might like, feel free to throw some suggestions my way!

Okay first off love your list!
It’s short but I think you would love A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L Peck, especially since you just read Piranesi and seem to enjoy more esoteric horror.
I think you would also enjoy Nothing But the Rain by Naomi Salman and Helpmeet by Naben Ruthnum as they are both shorter strange horror novellas.
You might also like The Hike by Drew Magary, The Story of My Teeth by Valeria Luiselli, and Poor Things by Alasdair Gray.
We’ll Prescribe You a Cat by Syou Ishida, Red Doc by Anne Carson, The Most of It by Mary Ruefle, Sweet Bean Paste by Durian Sukegawa, The Passion by Jeanette Winterson, Loving Day by Mat Johnson, The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow, Circe by Madeline Miller, The Fox Wife by Yangszee Choo, To Shape a Dragon’s Breath by Moniquill Blackgoose, A Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers, Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Once Upon a Tome by Oliver Darkshire, Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, Mr. Fox by Helen Oyeyemi, The Cat Who Saved Books by Sosuke Natsukawa, What is Not Yours is Not Yours by Helen Oyeyemi, The Emperor & the Endless Palace by Justinian Huang, All About Love by bell hooks, Slewfoot by Brom, Lips Touch by Laini Taylor, The Book of Yokai by Michael Dylan Foster, What You Are Looking For is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama, Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas, Magic for Beginners by Kelly Link
