Hi, I’m looking for a book where the focus is on two sisters, I would like a very easy going book, maybe a slice of life. I’d love a book that just talks about two sisters living together. I’m open to any suggestions tho, the only thing that really matters to me is the relationship between two sisters.

So these are decidedly NOT chill, but books about female relationships are some of my favorites. If you’re open to more intense reads to add to your TBR when you’re in the mood, here are my recs:
* *Shanghai Girls* by Lisa See – Adult historical; about two Chinese sisters immigrating to America. Also has a sequel that I won’t describe since the premise contains a spoiler for the first book.
* *Clap When You Land* by Elizabeth Acevedo – Young adult poetry; about two half-sisters, following their lives after their father dies.
* *Kira Kira* by Cynthia Kadohata – Middle grade; about two Japanese-American sisters’ relationship when the older sister becomes terminally ill
* *Sisters of the Lost Nation* by Nick Medina – Adult horror/thriller; about an Indigenous girl searching for answers after her girls go missing, including her sister; less focused on the relationship, but it’s an ongoing thread.
