Hello fellow book lovers,
When I was a kid and teen, I used to read quite a bit, and I loved it. Since getting into university and graduating, I have been reading zero though, and I want to get back to it. I always liked historical fiction and fantasy.
Some of my favorite books include:
– The Da Vinci Code
– Harry Potter series (Not as an adult though)
– The Lord of the Rings
– The Shadow of the Wind
– The Book Thief 💕
– Gates of Fire
– The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series
– The Physician💕
– The Kite Runner
– A Thousand Splendid Suns 💕
– The Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules Our Lives
However, I recently tried reading Good Omens and Asimov's Foundation series but couldn't muster the fortitude to get past the beginning, which really bummed me out because I thought I'd love them.
I'm looking for book recommendations that are similar to the ones I enjoyed and will hook me right from the start. I'd love to explore new authors who have published recently and are still making a name for themselves, and I'm also open to trying different genres than I'm used to.
