I just finished Godkiller by Hannah Kaner and loved it. I also really enjoyed The Book that Wouldn’t Burn, The Will of the Many, and The Poppy War. Ideally a female MC but I don’t really mind. I have Mistborn, The Wheel of Time, and Priory on my to read list but not looking for something too long right now.
Adult / new adult fantasy please! I used to read a lot of YA ones (like ACOTAR, Shadow and Bone, The Cruel Prince etc) because of the pace and action but they now feel too… YA trope-y. YA fantasy is reserved for comfort reading now haha
