    Hey everyone!

I am undertaking a project to read one book recommended by an indie bookstore employee from each of the 50 states, and as I am from New England, I will be starting my project (and my search) there! Pretty soon I’ll be taking a day to drive around NE and hit all the stops and buy from 6 stores, so hit me with your recommendations!

Being from the area, and an employee at an indie myself, I get the opportunity to check out a bunch of them already, but this project doesn’t necessarily only exclusively apply to ones I haven’t been to before. They also don’t necessarily need to be ~new~ bookstores, used ones count too. As long as it has a physical storefront with a physical employee I can ask for a recommendation, it counts.

    Looking for recs for
    – Maine
    – New Hampshire
    – Vermont
    – Massachusetts
    – Connecticut
    – Rhode Island

The recommendation with the most upvotes per state I will put on my list! Thank you all! <3

    1. For Massachusetts, I recommend either Book Moon (Easthampton) or Grey Matter (Hadley) for Western Mass and either Tim’s Used Books (Provincetown) or Sea Howl (Orleans) for the Cape.
