Hey yall
I'm trying to get into the classics and I wanna start with Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath. As an NB PoC I'm a little ashamed to admit that I do, in fact, love the dude bro white men books but I do want to read literature by BIPOC authors as well. Since Grapes of Wrath is about the Dustbowl and also because I find it a very fascinating era of American history, I would love to read about it in contextualize outside whiteness. Specifically either though a Indigenous, African American, Mexican, or Chinese perpective. Maybe even all. Any recs are greatly appreciated because i'm having a very difficult time finding anything.
