I loved Carrie Soto is back and am looking for similar/contemporary novels about (preferably boss ladies) women deciding to make a change in their lives– and going for it. Like, I want to read about the angst and turmoil and the striving, even better if it's not TOO heavy and more driving, the way Carrie Soto is. Empowering vibes, basically. Even better if there's an element of creative renewal.
I like Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow but felt like there was almost zero character development for Sadie? And very low tension, just always upward trajectory until THAT part, and even then she just… continued on. I want change.
