Book on King Louis XIV and his Court and Parties

Any good, readable more accessible books on Louis XIV and his court?

There's obviously loads of books on him but I am keen not to delve too much into the details of the political reforms… more interested in the characters and court and parties and fashion. If a book captures that energy rather than just a dry historical text that would be perfect.
