Hello! I will be visiting Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio in the near future, and I'm looking for something a little atmospheric to read on my trip. A murder mystery or haunted cabin type vibes, maybe.
I'm 29F and typically read a lot of fantasy romance. I work a mentally taxing, often stressful job on the midnight shift in Healthcare, so I tend to prefer something that doesn't take a ton of brainpower to read. YA is fine, though I would prefer new adult to adult range.

Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but “Spooky Ohio” and “Haunted Ohio” by Chris Woodyard are collections of short stories that were very popular growing up in Ohio. Definitely nails the spooky stories to tell around a campfire vibe.
Enjoy Hocking Hills!
