Narrative nonfiction, especially survival stories, ideally oceanic, similar to “In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex” please?
i don't think there's any narrative more compelling than people in real life fighting thru something they're basically supposed to die from, in the most literal sense
